Social enterprise
Bambooruko BV and the Ghanaian subsidiary BambooBizz Ltd. have been established to generate an additional source of income for farmers in Ghana with bamboo, thereby increasing their standard of living. In addition, we want to make a positive contribution to the global environmental issue by binding more COâ‚‚ in our chain than is released, through the use of our bamboo briquettes. We want to be an environmentally friendly social enterprise.
Durability
BambooBizz is a company where the positive influence of the Ghanaian and Dutch society is paramount. We strive for buyers of our products to know what we stand for. BambooBizz would like to be part of and contribute to a more sustainable society, out of concern for future generations and because sustainability is a precondition for continued existence as a company.
Employment opportunities
People, Planet and Profit are central to our policy. Job creation is at the top. Our products are fully recyclable and are made with the use of environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. In addition, we aim to largely reinvest future profits in socially responsible projects in developing countries.
Balanced interests
BambooBizz works with local parties. Not only because they know well what is going on in the area, but also to contribute to the development of the local economy. We also strive for a sustainable relationship with our customers. We do this by exceeding their expectations. We create added value by working together with our chain partners and looking for sustainable solutions together. We also try to innovate continuously. We operate in a way that balances economic, environmental and social interests.
